Comments from Judie: This Quilt is beautiful! I like Medallion style quilts very much. Lisa's use of color and design is so outstanding. I loved her perfect choice of patterns in this piece . I also liked the way she used my stripe around the quilt. Very clever! The quilting is definitely exceptional. Who would not love to own this Gorgeous Quilt!

Second Prize:

Sarah Bond of Philadelphia, PA
"Orange Peel Reel"
Sponsoring Shop -- Round Bobbin Quilt Shop, Ambler, PA
$1000 Cash + Prize Pack
(Paper-piecing & traditional piecing; Machine quilted by Carol Heisler 78" x 78" )

Comments from Judie: This Quilt is a wonderful piece. Sarah's choice of design is so original and a sight to behold. Her center design is dazzling to the eye. Her colors are so antique looking it is hard to believe this quilt was just made. I was very impressed with this quilt.

Third Prize:

Nancy Yando of Fuquay-Varina, NC
"Sewing Circles"
Sponsoring Shop -- Lonestar Mercantile, Fuquay-Varina, NC
$500 + Prize Pack

Comments from Judie: I thought the design for this quilt was so clever. What a wonderful way to utilize a Just Judie fabric collection. The entire quilt was hand sewn and hand quilted by Nancy. To me this is very impressive also. This quilt is definitely a real beauty of a classic scrappy quilt.

Honorable Mentions:

Wendy Reed of Bath, ME
"Thanks, Judie"
Sponsoring Shop -- Busy Thimble Quilt Shop, Litchfield, ME
Fabric & Prize Pack

Comments from Judie: This quilt is quite a show stopper. I loved the fact that she used over 600 Just Judie Prints in her quilt. Wendy's quilt has so many great designs going on in her wonderful piece. I especially like the stars running in the four corners of the checkerboard and the star in the center of the four oak leaves. This quilt is all hand quilted which makes it very soft and antique looking.

Denise Isherwood of Norwalk, CT
"I Never Met A Judie Fabric That I Didn't Love"

Comments from Judie: Such a gorgeous quilt! I like everything about it. Twenty five Ohio Stars adorn this quilt for me (one is hidden). The colors are really beautiful as the whole design its self is. The quilting is superb, which really enhances the overall quilt. A lot of thought and planning went into this quilt, which I really appreciate. A wonderful job, Denise.
